- Startup view / “Live TV” menu opens — where the app lands on launch and what the menu's Live TV entry does (last channel or guide).
- 24-hour clock — off shows AM/PM times everywhere.
- Channel list style — Classic, Compact or Detailed guide look.
- Channel numbers — hide the provider's long channel numbers per screen; “Number favorites 1, 2, 3…” gives your list its own short numbers.
- Remote key test — shows the name of any button you press; used to map buttons that do nothing.
- Live TV engine — Native (best picture) or Standard; the app falls back automatically per channel when needed.
- Buffer size — larger rides out provider hiccups at the cost of slower channel changes.
- Audio/Subtitle language — preferred track languages.
- Jump interval — how far fast-forward/rewind skips.
- Recording storage / RED quick capture — where recordings go and how long a RED-press captures.
- Parental controls — set a PIN and lock any category from view.
- Refresh TV Guide only — re-download guide data without a full sync.

Still stuck? Two things fix most one-off problems before anything else: the 60-second reset ladder , and a refresh of your provider’s lineup. Neither touches your favourites, settings or connections.
If it is an account, billing or activation problem — or the steps above genuinely did not help — get in touch with your Support ID from Settings → Account.
